a prelude to the weekend
demarcating the end of the work week and
heralding days of fun
or rest
and laundry
and cleaning
and planning
and grading
and look at that,
it's already Sunday night.

Your posts are always SO relatable! Yes, the weekend looms ahead and yet there is SO much to do in the hours that make up a weekend!
Thanks so much. SOL reminds me how much we all have in common regardless of how we write about it.
This is seriously spot on! It’s a shame that the weekends usually fly by too fast.
If we just had one more day. One day for fun, one to relax, and one to do work stuff.
